Coosa Valley Hospice Care creates a holistic, affirming atmosphere for patients, with assistance for the friends and family members who love them.  As a continuum of the services of Coosa Valley Medical Center we promote the highest levels of comfort, peace and dignity, and provide compassionate care through physical, spiritual and emotional support.

Home care consists of specialized healthcare services and activities delivered in the comfort of a patient’s own home. Trained medical professionals, working under the direct supervision of the patient’s physician, deliver home care services. Home care includes a wide range of medical, social and therapeutic treatments that help patients return to healthy and active lives.

Our 2-North, 2-West and 3-West inpatient units specialize in postoperative surgical patients, pediatric patients, and medical patients. This is an inpatient nursing unit that provides nursing care and supports the medical regimen for a wide variety of acute care illnesses. The unit has the capacity to do continuous cardiac monitoring on all patients.

The Emergency Department at Coosa Valley Medical Center cares for more than 30,000 patients per year. We are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to provide care for a wide variety of illnesses, from minor aches and pains to the critically ill patient.
