INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (ICU)
At Coosa Valley Medical Center (CVMC), our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a state-of-the-art, 10-bed department dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for critically ill adults. Redesigned in 2007, our ICU is equipped to manage complex surgical cases, unstable cardiac conditions, and other medical situations requiring intensive nursing care.
Our Team
Our ICU is staffed by a team of highly trained professionals, including registered nurses certified in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, invasive monitoring, and airway management. They are supported by unit secretaries and monitor technicians to ensure seamless care. Patient care is overseen 24/7 by local internal medicine physicians and a board-certified critical care pulmonologist, ensuring expert medical guidance at all times.
